2010 American Buffalo Gold coins

In 2010, the mint succeeded in having a sufficient numbe of gold blank planchets. The shortages of gold bullion had hampered mint production of the coins during previous years. In 2010, 209,000 uncirculated coins were sold. In 2010, the mint produced both proof coins and their statndard uncirculated bullion coins. Denominations are $50 and each coin contains one ounce of 24 kt. gold.
